     11 I'm applying for the Functional Test Lead position with Infosys Public Services. I've spent
     12 fifteen years building test procedures and finding the gap between what a product is supposed to
     13 do and what it actually does, and functional testing is where that work has always lived.

     15 For the past three years I've worked as a Software Quality Analyst at Leggett & Platt, testing
     16 web and mobile applications across iOS, Android, and browser platforms. My day-to-day work covers
     17 manual and exploratory testing, smoke and regression testing, defect documentation, and root cause
     18 analysis, along with writing automation scripts in Python and PowerShell to extend coverage on
     19 repeatable test cases. Before that, I spent over a decade in mechanical testing at Consumer Testing
     20 Laboratories and Leggett & Platt R&D, where I researched applicable regulations and standards and
     21 translated them into structured test procedures. That work required the same discipline your
     22 posting describes for payroll testing, taking a complex rule set and building tests that verify
     23 the software applies it correctly every time.

     25 I want to be direct about where I don't have a match. I haven't worked in payroll systems
     26 specifically, so I don't have hands on experience with payroll cycles, tax calculations, or
     27 garnishment logic. What I bring instead is a demonstrated ability to learn a regulatory domain
     28 quickly and build reliable functional tests around it, plus day to day comfort using AI assisted
     29 tools like Microsoft Copilot to support test development.

     31 On the degree requirement, I attended Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, completing general
     32 studies coursework without finishing a degree. I understand your posting allows relevant work
     33 experience to substitute for formal education, and I'd point to my fifteen years of hands on
     34 testing work as that substitute.
